Our Mission
Sun City Music Therapy aims to enrich lives through music therapy by providing bilingual and culturally sensitive services. Our team is dedicated to improving mental, emotional, and social well-being for all individuals in the El Paso community. We offer a range of services including in-home visits, virtual telehealth, and in-person visits in our dedicated music therapy studio and sensory room nestled in the the serene countryside of Upper Valley El Paso.
Our services CAN be eligible with Medicaid through the CLASS and YES waivers! We have recently become approved providers through the PDSES program as well! We provide services through private pay and accept HSA allowing flexible payment options including 1x visit fees, and our most economical, subscription bundles! At this time, we don't accept private insurance. Please take a look at the services we offer and feel free to contact us for more information!
About
Sun City Music Therapy
Meet Daniel Garcia, MT-BC, a bilingual board-certified music therapist born and raised in El Paso, TX. With 7 years of clinical music therapy experience working with diverse populations including Adults and Children with IDD/DD, Autism, Down syndrome, Veterans, PTSD, At-Risk Youth, and Hospice/Palliative Care in a variety of settings including in-home care, inpatient facilities, and virtual telehealth. Daniel graduated Magna Cum Laude from Seattle Pacific University with a BA in Music Therapy/Pscyhology as well as obtaining a Music Performance AA from El Paso Community College. After completion of his degree, Daniel completed his required clinical music therapy internship with Trustbridge Hospice and Palliative Care in West Palm Beach, FL. Daniel has been providing music therapy in El Paso in various settings including EPISD, SISD, and the VA of El Paso/Las Cruces. Primarily a guitarist, Daniel is a multi-instrumentalist with strengths in Piano, Drum Set, Vocals, and Bass Guitar.
